Key with alpha channel from two HDMI inputs

PostWed Jul 02, 2025 1:29 am

I have an ATEM mini Extreme ISO, and a computer that sends an RGB image via one HDMI output, and transparency information via another as a grayscale image, using the full range.

I've had some success getting a semitransparent DSK, but I find it difficult to get the settings just right to map the range from 0 to 255 linearly onto 0% to 100% opacity.

The closest to what I want seems to be with "pre-multiplied" set to "off", the "clip" slider at 50%, and the "gain" slider at around 20%.

Is there a way to just use the key source directly as the alpha channel?
