Mini Converter Problem (480i Analog to SDI/SDI to HDMI)

I'm having a strange issue with mini converter setup. Basically, I'm feeding a 480i (composite) signal to the analog to SDI mini converter, then going to an Infocus IN42 projector with an HDMI to M1 adapter via a SDI to HDMI mini converter.

For whatever reason, the Infocus projector refuses to display any indications of a signal. I connected the SDI to HDMI mini converter to my Sharp HDTV and it displays properly, and if I connect a 480i HDMI signal directly to the Infocus projector it displays properly.

I have a spare SDI to analog mini converter and tested that with the component output and the Infocus will display that properly as well, the problem though being I have 3 Infocus projectors I need to display on with three SDI to HDMI mini converters and I only have one SDI to analog mini converter.

I know that some users have changed the firmware around on their boxes to get around similar issues, so I'm curious if anyone else has ran into this problem and if any particular firmware resolved the issue?

When you plug the HDMI output into a regular TV, where it works. Can you hit the info button and tell me what it is reporting as far as signal goes?

Also, i'm not super familiar with the IN42 projector, but can you confirm it's okay with taking YUV signals (as apposed to an RGB signal). I'm afraid if it's looking for RGB specifically it might not work.

Let me know what the TV reports and we'll see if we can figure out what's up.
