[LINUX] gstreamer 1.0 decklinksrc seg fault with minirecorde

maybe the wrong forum, but anyway maybe someone has a solution or experiences here:

gstreamer 0.10 works but we had a/v sync problems and dropouts, so we tried 1.0
the gstreamer decklinksrc module from version 1.0 and got a seg fault under ubuntu (14.04).

gst-launch-1.0 decklinksrc mode=10 ! videoconvert ! xvimagesink sync=false

my bet is that the gstreamer software provided by ubuntu 14.04 is old and out of date, therefore seg faulting for unknown reasons. without you attempting to use gdb to debug why it's segfaulting i would just suggest compiling the latest gstreamer code yourself.
