OpenGear HDMI to SDI Reading only 30hz

PostSat Dec 06, 2014 11:25 pm

I have a Media Server (ArKaos Stadium) that is sending a 1920 x 1080 signal to the BMD Open Gear HDMI to SDI converter. The computer is only reading 30hz as an option. I am getting the video signal through the system and out to my 5 projectors over SDI signal but the video loops are jumping. I think I need to have it at 59.94/60hz but can't select that in the OS. On BlackMagic's site it state the resolution for both HDMI and SDI as 1080i @ 59.94/60 capable. Short of getting 5 DVIParrots is there anything I can do?

1080i 60 is really 30 frames per second, so 30hz is correct. See if you can get your graphics card to output 29hz for 29.97 frames per second (which is 1080i 59.94)
