What to expect out of Hyperdeck Studio Pro?

I have purchased a couple of the Hyperdeck Studio Pro's and i am wondering what i should expect out of the "Playback output"

What i am honestly hoping for is a way to MONITOR the input to the hyperdeck while recording, both video and audio. Is the output live while recording? Does it match the input that it is recording? Does it have any kind of confidence overlays like timecode or "REC"? Is this an option?

Current owner experience would be GREAT!

While recording, the outputs (both HDMI and SDI) are live and match the input video being recorded.

There are no timecode or REC overlay options that I am aware of. The only real output options available are to set how a 3G SDI or 4K signal is output (whether a single SDI output is used or dual link/quad link SDI).
