PGM on AUX with ATEM 1

PostFri Jan 23, 2015 7:14 pm

Hello

I know that with the software, I can route any source to any AUX, including the PGM.

But it seems to be impossible to do tjis from the control panel.

What I would like is the ability to send the program on any AUX with the control panel. Ideally, pressing the eleventh bouton from the left.

Thank you !

Have you tried pressing the AUX button (I think it's in the left column, middle row) and choosing an AUX bus to control? You have have to hit the "Home" button first.

Hello gigowattfilm. All of the sources available to the auxiliary outputs are available using the control panel. While not obvious, you would use the Shift button for the second level or tier of sources just like you would for program out. For all of the special internal sources available to Auxiliary only, on the 1ME panel you would hold down both Shift and the Cut/Fill Buttons, giving you a third level or tier of choices. There you will find the Program and Preview outputs. On the 2ME panel you would hold down both Shift buttons at the same time. I believe in an earlier firmware one of the expected sources was missing but that should all work correctly now. It's not an easy thing to remember, I'll agree.

Thank you a bunch for that, I would never have guessed, I'll try tomorrow.

I've spent the last 20 years directing live events on so many mixers (kahuna, mvs6000, echolab, hs410/450, km3000, bvs3200 and so many others), never I found something that much unpractical !

When directing, I like to be able to press 1 button to send the PGM through one AUX (usually, the one on the right, the one before being the other ME if available, or DVE). I don't see myself accurately and in a timely fashion press 3 buttons to acheive this.... Oh boy !

Hello

Thank you Gary, I tested it this morning and it works. Well it is not as easy as I would have liked but it works.

I wish there were a way to crosspoint PGM.

Is it possible to do a macro using the button oon the upper left side corner ?

If you have a spare input then do a re-entry with a cable looping out of pgm back into your input. Then you can directly route that to aux.
