Sony BRC-300 and ATEM Switcher

PostMon May 18, 2015 11:02 pm

Do the Sony BRC-300 PTZ SD cameras work with the ATEM switchers? I will be installing the optional SDI card into the camera. I don't know if the native resolution will satisfy Black Magics specs for ingesting the signal. Has anyone had any experience with these cameras?

The BRC-300 is a standard definition camera. The ATEM switchers require all inputs to be the same, so you would have to set your switcher to SD inputs only.

Thank you, I realize that, but the camera spec says that it outputs 768 x 494. I was just wondering if that is an issue for the camera to actually work with the switcher.

BRC-300 is ntsc only, so you only need 480 vertical lines.
the pal version is BRC-300P
