I'd like to ask two things about the mixer.
1. I have installed it on a flight case with a power condition, a sound mixer and a hyper deck. I have choose to place it on the top of all these and leave 1/2U empty space.
I made some tests today for about 1 hours and after that i noticed that the temperature outside of the flight case was high. Not too high, but you could realize the difference if you touched the frond side from the rear side.
So, what should i do, move it in the middle and leave 1/2U up & down empty ? Use a 2-3 U flight case and install it alone ? Install an external fan ? Leave it as it is ?
In mostly use it on external condition, heat up to 40+oC during summer.
With the same setup and a tvs, i haven't any temperature problems.
2. Is this sound normal ?
I haven't use that console for 2-3 months. When I did, it wasn't on the flight case, i remember the noise of the fans but i'm not sure if it was that loud and had that... i don't know how to tell, maybe "scratch".
