Hi BMD Team!
I regularly use our Hyperdeck Studio and Shuttle to record computer presentations / training videos from computers HDMI outputs.
However, not every computer / graphic card is able to be configured to output YUV signals.
Some are compatible with YUV displays, but output only YUV when the device tell them so as it appears.
For some reasons we get from certain systems only RGB output into the Hyperdeck, which then of course shows the green tinted wrong signal when play back what has been recorded before.
Either the way the device tells the computer it expects YUV does not work, or it would be nice if the Hyperdeck would simply allow for true RGB recording, such as in a 444 mode. Its clear its more data, but there is a lot of use for it.
