ATEM Glitch problem

Hi Forum

Our Atem switcher and panel is acting strange. The panel occasionally loses all of
the camera labels on it in the middle of a performance. In addition, Frame sync also
misses one in a while. The camera horizontally moves over 1/4 frame.

Any ideas.

It is pretty rare, but periodically our broadcast panels will loose the source names as well. We have not experienced any of the other issues described however.

Hi,

Have you tried to update the firmware of the panel to the latest version? This is something not commonly seen, I'll recommend if this issue persist to approach your nearest BMD support team for technical assistance.

Does it just loose the names on the panel/multiviewer, or does it lose control altogether? It seems that 4.2 was causing some network connection issues as discussed here...

there are also several threads concerning the frame sync timing issue (horizontal shift). apparently this is a "feature" of the 2 M/E unit. I really wish they would find a fix for that one...
