H.264 Recorder & Audio Sync Issues

PostFri Apr 12, 2013 2:54 am

Hi All - having some issues with audio sync with the following set-up
AUX Out of ATEM 1M/E switcher to H.264 Recorder using a current model Mac Mini (i5 with 4GB Ram) running media express to capture in 1080i@50.
We are finding with our longer records (30mis plus) the audio is terribly out of sync with the video.
Any one else having the same issues? Should we drop back to 720 or up the RAM as quick fixes?

Hi!

I have the same problem in my setup, using a MacBook Pro 2011 with 16GB RAM. Audio is out of sync after about 10 Minutes, I use the system copying VHS-tapes to harddisc.
I tried older drivers as suggested in other forums but that did not solve the problem.

Any other ideas?

Try different Bit-rate settings and make sure your device doesn't overheats. I have found that recording at 20,000 kBit/s works best for me using MXPTiny. When I crank it up device overheats and I get all the problems mentioned about H.264 Pro Recorder plus some drop outs...

Did you try the delay feature of the behringer shark dsp110?
