Media Express Import

PostMon Apr 15, 2013 11:47 pm

How can I get videos from Adobe Premiere or After Effects to work in Media Express? I can't figure out how to export them properly.

You have to use the proper BMD codec. I have had great success with using the Adobe Media encoder using the Blackmagic AVI codec and MJPEG compression at 1080i 5994. You can only use codecs that Media Express can capture to so its basically uncompressed or various AVI options.

Good luck, Media Express is a bear to import any popular codecs with, it's a shame it wont work with DNxHD.

Any way you could share a screenshot of your settings? This would be a lifesaver! I have been trying multiple different exports based on what you said and can't seem to get it it to import still. I seem to be missing something.
