PostTue May 01, 2018 7:07 am

How would you like to have full control of BMMSC using your computer, tablet and in future also phone?

The LeViteZer Control SW that runs on Windows, Mac, Linux and Android. The USB to SDI box fully supports the easy to use LeViteZer protocol, so you can integrate it also with your own application. (Links below )

It can be used to control one camera, multiple cameras connected with SDI splitter one at the time and especially handy for a multi-camera setup like 360 video rig. All the cameras can be controlled at the same time using camera ID 0 on the LeViteZer Control software. This will broadcast the commands to all the cameras or they can be controlled one at the time using dedicated camera ID set on the camera menu.

It has been tested with the BMMSC but should operate also with other BMD cameras that supports the SDI control.

The current version of LeViteZer Control software (links below) supports only camera control, the PTZ control will return on next release. The USB to SDI box supports the PTZ control over SDI that makes possible to connect the PTZ head on the BMMSC expansion port.

There will be a small run of the USB to SDI box based on orders, maximum 10 at this time. The LeViteZer Control software is free to use with the box.

The price is 395 USD / 320 euro VAT 0% + shipping. We use DHL for shipping, it is around 50 to 100 USD depending of location. Available late May. To order contact me. ( kim.janson@levitezer.com )

Later on we will have also a control box that support interfacing over Ethernet and much improved PTZ control using a gimbal as described here viewtopic.php?f=4&t=66387

Thanks for the interest Denny and Howard.

The pricing is on the first post.

The framework we use supports iPad, but this version is currently not available and will take some time. Android we have tested, but there is many things we need to improve before the user experience is good. Tablet or phone is much different to use than a computer with a mouse. For Example with a mouse fine tuning the values with a scroll wheel is convenient and accurate, using the sliders with fingers is fast, but not so smooth or accurate. We will likely have virtual scroll wheel later on for tablets.

The current efforts we are putting on the Mac, Windows and Linux user interface.

Sorry for the delay, anodizing casted aluminum did not work as we hoped, the boxes will be painted, like on the pictures above. Still looking to get the painting process right with subcontractor, but first hand-painted units are ready.

We are still also updating the LeViteZer protocol and like to get that done before shipping the units. It should be all ready in two weeks for the first units and soon we will have more.
