Posted: Thu Jun 14, 2018 2:16 amI am using a rental ATEM 2 M/E Production Studio 4K. How do you change the reference to external? I cannot find the option in the control or setup software.

Posted: Thu Jun 14, 2018 7:05 pmthere is no control for ref selection. if you connect a ref signal the ATEM will time it's outputs to it. Otherwise it just free-runs.

Posted: Thu Jun 14, 2018 9:19 pmAlso make sure the frame rate of the Reference (Black Burst, or Tri Level) matches the output setting for the ATEM switcher.
