How to create a ProRes 4444 stinger for Studio Mini?

PostSat Aug 18, 2018 7:52 am

Hi guys,
I am preparing a stinger for our live productions - however having great troubles in creating a proper stinger.mov in ProRes 4444 that will play in the Studio Mini.

How do you do that?

I have generated a set of transparent PNGs with alphas - all looking great. I use AVCONV (on a Windows 10 PC) from https://libav.org to convert - and I do get an .MOV file in the "as-I-understand" proper codec.

Best regards
Tom

Hello Tom, export your content from e.G. After Effects in ProRes 4444 in 1080 progressiv!, not in interlaced. Save it on a card, which you formatted in a HyperDeck Mini in HFS+ journaled. The HyperDeck will it play it now with separated key and fill channel on the 2 SDI outputs.
Convert content from other sources with Apple Compressor to ProRes 4444.

Best regards, Anett
