How to prevent ATEM Software Control to take USB Ctrl Surfac

I wonder if it is possible to prevent the ATEM Software Control (on Windows) to use the Mackie Universal Control surface on the computer I use to manage Audio with a specific software and select videos sources and effects on the ATEM at the same time.
As soon as ATEM Software Control starts, it take control of the surface whereas it was already in use in the audio mixing software.

Is there a magical registery key to set for that or for next version of the soft, is it possible to set an option in the settings defaut access to the default USB surface or let the choice to the user to chooe which one it should take !

First start your audio software.. So the midi device is already taken / busy.. Then start the Atem software..

Thanks but this is the problem ! ATEM software control takes authority on the control surface and keeps it !

Send a ticket to BMD support.. That you have major problems with it.. Maybe they will finally change it after 6 years... Would not hold my breath on that one...
