Mobile Road Case for Live Events

I'm looking into using a MacMini and the Mini Recorder to capture an AUX feed. I'm thinking it would be cheaper to use a MacMini and capture ProRes than to buy a HyperDeck and 2 SSDs. What are your thoughts?

Hello,
I have used a Mac Pro on the road and captured pro res to that and it work great... Until it crashed one time and I lost a whole hour of footage. I am currently using a Hyperdeck studio with (2)SSD... lol
