H.264 Pro Recorder Sync

PostFri Jun 21, 2013 11:34 pm

Having some sync issues with the H.264 pro recorder.

My setup:
3 Panasonic HE120 PTZ Cameras set to 108060i, HDSDI OUT, Genlocked
ATEM 1ME Genlocked, HDSDI OUT TO Mini Converter DA
THEN INTO H.264 PRO Recorder
Audio is L-R Balanced out of a mixer into the switcher to be embedded.

Recording using media express, device native at about 12Mb/s. When recording files over about 9Mins and 30Seconds the files get flagged at weird framerates. 29.91 29.92 29.93 29.94 and are out of sync.

I've been reading online and a lot of people have posted about this but there doesn't seem to be a fix. I have a email into BMD last week still no reply. Any suggestions?

I even record from the composite downconverted output of the switcher to another recorder with no sync issues. Just this seems to be the issue. This H.264 recorder is a awesome idea for our business if it can be fixed to be in sync. Thanks to anyone willing to help!

If you have access to a PC try MXlight. works like a champ. It is the media express software bug
