i tried to update the blackmagic audio 12G
unit with latest firmware update 3.2
it stopped at 33%
and unit does not boot

any help how to get it back working please

Usually if a firmware update is interrupted (and the device is no longer recognized over USB by the setup software), the only option is to send the unit in to your local Blackmagic support office.

They can usually flash the firmware internally to make the unit operational again (unfortunately this is not something that can easily be done by an end user).

no news from blackmagic engineers if i can fix the problem myself! problem was created as i updated firmware found on their website

Shoot a support ticket to your local BMD Regional support. They will go over a few questions. If it needs a factory reflash they will collect the unit and send it back reflashed.

Yes did so and was fixed although they didnt install latest firmware
I need to change audio settings to ebu format
System wants me update firmware but im afraid it will crash again
Any thoughts.?

Just try it again. Take a USB2 port. Seems to work better for updates as a USB3

Try to avoid long USB leads.
