Hello,

its nice to have the new developer features. i have a question to make:

which software should be used to send tcp commands ? - i use putty to connect.

"play" works fine
"stop" works fine

but how is the speed feature working

anything like speed: 10 or speed:10 or speed=10 doesnt work.

Really? Are you able to control it via ethernet? I was under the impression that the port wasn't even enabled?

Ah, didn't know about that one. Thanks for the info, Liam! This is great news, finally some progress on the ethernet control.

you have to send in one sentence
play:[LF]speed: 10[LF][LF]

replay [LF] with LineFeed (CR is not working)
after speed: there must be a space

Already started to write a ethernet aware slowmotion controller with Arduino Ethernet as a platform. Only problem there is no way to get playback status to know where i am right now in the file.

(now chase play would be the final feature :D)
