keyframes panel bug

PostFri Apr 25, 2025 1:32 pm

Hello,
When I am in Single Screen mode and open the Keyframes panel
– I can change the size of the pane moving the border
– If I open the separate window, it open in the center of the screen with no possibility to move it or resize it
When I am in Dual Screen mode
– I cannot change the size of the panel
– If I open the separate window, it open in the center of the screen with no possibility to move it or resize it
Thank you

I screenshotted my Dual screen layout and submitted to the form as well. Its ridiculous that vertical video UI gets keyframes on left screen, but dual screen UI is still messed up with keyframes. Its on the complete far right and doing the pop out is fine, but if i open fusion or color, i have to go and grab the keyframes box again. Frustrating.

I hope they do something about this ASAP

Grab the window right in the middle of the top. Then you can move it.

Thanks, I had the same issue but had not figured that out yet. Intuitively, we should be able to move that window by grabbing anywhere along the top. Seems you need to grab it in the top center, on the label.

I also have no option to resize the Keyframes editor flyout panel in any way. That option would be desired greatly.

Re: keyframes panel on dual monitor improvements

I also use dual monitors, one on top of the other. I am also mostly using "Full Screen Timeline".

I have found no way to resize the keyframe editor when using dual monitors, it is put on the right hand sidebar togheter with: Metadata, Effects, Sound Library. It's so narrow that it makes the feature unusable on dual monitors setup as it is now.

It would have been better to put it to the left or on the lower part of the second monitor. Make second monitor more like the primary monitor, or put it togheter with: Media Pool, Index and Mixer at lower part monitor two. Media Pool should be added as a toggle button as well on monitor two to be able to turn it off to use most of the monitor to keyframes.
