playhead moves when opening context menu

Normally when you right click on a clip to access the pop-up context menu, the playhead does not move. But I've found a weird situation where the playhead unexpectedly / strangely changes position!

Steps to recreate:

1. On Edit Page, position the playhead over the center of any clip.
2. Right click very close to the current playhead position (to make context menu appear)
3. Observe the playhead has moved to new position!
4. (Note, this does not happen if you right click further away from current playhead position on the same clip. Clearly it's a bug!)

This is frustrating because you may have your playhead positioned in just the exact... perfect... location... but this strange bug causes it to be moved unintentionally.

Davinci Resolve 20 beta 3rd update. macOS latest version.

I'm not seeing this in Studio 20b3 for Windows. Playhead doesn't move, even if I right-click on top of the playhead.

Maybe it’s macOS only then…

Also if I wasn’t clear it’s when you are right-clicking over a clip on the timeline… very close to the current playhead position. As if you wanted to choose some action from the context menu for that clip.

Yes, that is happening here too on Windows. It only does it on the Full Extent Zoom and not on the Detail or Custom zooms. It also does it on the Custom Zoom if you have zoomed in using Alt+Scroll wheel. I can't say if this happened in previous versions though.

So you are saying otherwise the problem does in fact occur? Ie you were also able to re-create the bug?

Yes, I saw it in Full Extent Zoom, or when the playhead wasn't on a Marker.
