Beta 3 AI music editor does not work

Behavior is when you click live trim drag the edge of the music clip to either shorten or lengthen, the clip will show the zigzag lines indicating where it made edits but waveform and actual sound does not create a new smooth ending but merely cuts off abruptly.
Beta 1 and 2 works.

Confirmed on B3 (MacBook, Sequoia 15.4.1).

If I manually set a shorter length then I can use the live trim to adjust further without the abrupt cutoff at the end (at least this worked for me once, not sure if its a repeatable workaround).

The live trim does the same for me! The live trim also seems to make the volume on my track extremely low when I use it, to the point of being mute. I'm on an M2 MacBook Pro with MacOS— Sonoma.

Yes, but there's a more serious audio issue with with beta 4.
