Right after "Scanning Audio Plugins", Resolve throws an error and shuts down.

Steps to try to fix the bug:
- No VPN activated.
- Removed audio plugins - none are being scanned at the moment.
- Deleted "Blackmagic Control Panels".
- Compatibility mode for Windows 8.

Still getting the same error.

Logs (expire in 3 days, too big to upload on forum): https://we.tl/t-EbHPVYwwJg

Same issue here. Tried reinstalling but didn't help.

@Jarle: Your logs link expired before I got to it. If you'd like to post a new link, I'll take a look. If you haven't already, having a Windows System Information .NFO is often required, so please provide that as well. Open System Information and select its File - Save menu to generate the .NFO.

@:Juri: Assuming you are on Windows, we need the following:

In a File Explorer window, go to:

C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve

and run CaptureLogs

This will place a Resolve log file named similar to this on your Windows Desktop: DaVinci-Resolve-logs-20181228_140434.zip (You may not see the .zip extension if your system is set to hide known extensions).

Then open the Windows System Information app and do a File - Save (Not a File Export), which will generate a .NFO file.

Place both those files on a file sharing site and provide links to the files here. Make sure the links don't require access credentials.

If you are a new Forum user, you may not be allowed to post URLs. If this happens, just put a space near the front of the URL, so the system doesn't think it's a URL.

Finally after trying dozens of workarounds, I've found my solution it was (after reading once again the requirements for DVR 20 Beta 3) to install CUDA Toolkit 12.8 from NVIDIA: https://tinyurl.com/255tuxsu

After installing this toolkit, all runs correctly in every page and most common functions, honestly I could try completely due time, but edit, color, magic mask, multi text for instance, work perfect.

I hope this could be the solution for many other users with constants crashes with DVR 20.

Thanks!

You don't need to install the CUDA Toolkit. Everything Resolve needs is in the proper NVIDIA Driver.

You DO need an NVIDIA driver with CUDA 12.8 support.

Honestly, I have always the latest NVIDIA Driver Studio updated directly from Nvidia App, however, DVR crashed dissapeared after installing the mentioned toolkit. Any idea?
