I could be wrong but as far as I know remote monitor is intended to be used for color grading. Maybe audio just is not supported? But I am an idiot so don't trust me.

It worked fine previously... I used it on a client session.

I have been having a lot of problems playing back any audio since the latest update. Resolve keeps selecting the wrong audio output for some reason, and a lot of times when it is right it won't play sound unless I restart.

Well I feel audio playback problems in general is a separate issue from it not working with Remote monitoring. I have Zero audio playback issues... remote monitoring audio worked perfectly fine previously, and is now apparently broken.

Can confirm same (host is Win10, remote is M1 MacBook Air). Shame there's no easy app download for clients (paid is OK but setting them up to download full DR Studio is a bit of a pain).
