UltraStudio Mini Recorder

PostThu Feb 22, 2024 4:51 pm

I bought one (not 3G) on Ebay for use with my Macbook Pro (2015, Monterey).
I've downloaded the latest Media Express but it says there's no device.
The light next to the Thunderbolt cable is not illuminated.
Is it dead? Can I revive it?
I thought £25 was too good to be true

Do you use a true Thunderbolt cable? USB-C won't work.
If the tiny white light doesn't illuminate, it's not the software.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.

Yes, it’s a Thunderbolt not USB.

Maybe go for the 3G then to be future proof, in case you upgrade to Apple Mx.
