Glitch Lines Problem Ursa

PostThu Feb 29, 2024 1:11 pm

Hello,

One of our Ursas Mini 4.6k (2017) is presenting some weird glitch problems. The image on camera is showing some random horizontal lines. They are appearing randomly on the Lcd screen, the viewfinder and also, being recorded on the files files.

We have tried anything we can think off: updating the camera, changing cards, changing batteries, switching luts, changing resolution, connecting the camera to the electricity outlet, factory reset, calibrating sensor and nothing seems to fix the glitch.

The camera seems to be working fine for a few days but out of the blue the problem randomly comes back.
We believe it has something to do with the image processing or the sensor but we don't really know waht might be causing it.

Does anyone here has experienced the same problem? Any idea of what might be causing it?
And most important, does anyone know if it would be possible to repair it?

We would appreciate any help or suggestions.
Thanks for your time reading this.

Seems to be the same issue: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=196931
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.

This is a well know problem, the sensor is de-coupling from the sensor board. It won't get better, it will only get worse.

Unlike the G2 Blackmagic no longer service the G1, so they won't be of any help.

You need to find someone who can action the following fix.
