Your input on Viewfinders...

Hey guys

I'm looking to purchase a viewfinder. Something to make my life a little easier.

I've been scouring BH but can't seem to find the ''right'' one. Best case scenario, the viewfinder would cover the widest possible range -- 25mm to 100mm??...

I'm not sure if that's even possible. Never used a viewfinder before. Never held one in my hands...

That's why I ask you guys; the good people on this forum always have great suggestions.

The Kinotehnik BM is great! A bit expensive but its real framing no point And shoot!

ok my bad then.

Use a phone app. Looks less good in behind the scenes photo ops though.

I have Cadrage Director's Viewfinder. With the BMCC Speed Booster I checked that it matched the FOV of the Super 35mm setting in the app, and it did for different lens focal lengths. You can take snapshots etc.

You should change the topic if it's possible so you can attract people who have answers. I don't have any for you, I only tried a cheap ebay one a friend of mine had. It was ok, the window get smaller the more you zoom and the numbers will most likely be off since not every sensor size is the same.
