I don't see it reflected in any online retailer or on the front page yet but I am continually impressed by Blackmagic. In every other aspect of my life costs have only gone up and most of the time unjustly so. To see something drop in price by half is really refreshing.

I've always wanted a shoulder cam and EVF, this may be a good option!

Now if only they’d update it with Gen5 colour…

It's still listed on the BM Ursa page as one of three options, this, the 12k, and the Mini Pro OLPF.

Mine arrives tomorrow, I couldn't pass on that cam for that price.

Its the only pro level camera that can do Prores. BMD will lose a lot of fans if it was to discontinue without a replacement that can do Prores.

Yes, but you’ll need the bidirectional converter if you want camera control.
