Zhiyun CX100

Zhiyun offers a budget lighting solution. It’s a battery-powered 100W portable light. Has anyone tried it?

Do you think a 100W would be lit a room when the light is pointed to the ceiling?

I’ve used a Zhiyun 100W light before. It’s decent for a budget option and does well in small spaces. If you’re pointing it at the ceiling, it’ll definitely brighten up the room, but it might not be as strong as more powerful setups for larger spaces.

Thank you Mark for the helpful information. I’d need in some situations when rooms have insufficient light. I don’t like to go higher than 1250 iso.

I received it today. I haven’t got the chance to test it thoroughly, however, I can say it’s powerful and fulfills my needs very well.

I did a quick false color test in a dim room, with the light behind the camera pointed at the ceiling at full power with the diffuser on, around 1.5m away from it.

I used it yesterday, it’s served me well. I still need to learn about lighting techniques, however so far, it does what I need.

I’m not a great editor/color grader, but I’m getting there.
