PostMon Jan 06, 2014 12:59 am

You will notice that the battery icon is flashing between charging and not charging
I don't know if it is normal, anyone use the same battery adaptor?

I use one, but with Panasonic batteries. The readout on the BMCC is always wacky, but the battery lasts for several hours. The internal battery does charge a bit from it too.

I have the V-Mount plate from Ikan and experienced something similar. I found that the little adapter plug Ikan included for the BMCC appeared to be causing it. Strangely enough, I removed it and just went with the cable straight from the V-Mount and it worked without issue.

I phoned Ikan about this and they were surprised to find out the plug worked without the adapter but assured me it was safe to use. I've been running it that way for the last couple shoots and have had no issues.
