A hotkey to go to the search bar on edit page effects, so you don't have to click it each time you want to search your effects! You can show panel in workspace using your hotkey, then select the search bar with a hotkey.

Appreciate this might have been asked for previously, however;

Adding the ability to assign keyboard shortcuts to cycle through pre-group, clip, post-group and timeline pages in the colour page would be so useful.

Seems like a relatively simple thing to implement and would save us colourists who rely heavily on groups a good chunk of time :D

Please add a shortcut key to insert a 2 second black solid at the play-head. (i.e. what the Davinci Editors Keyboard F2 key does)

Hoping that we can add this option to the keyboard customization in Davinci. Would speak up the workflow quite a bit as I am using "Transcribe Audio" command via mouse dozens of times per day.

Current workflow after highlighting clips in bin is

2-Select Audio Transcription - Select Transcribe

+1 to that! A keyboard shortcut to start transcription, to open the transcription window or, if a clip has a transcription already created, AUTOMATICALLY open the transcription window when the clip is selected.

CYCLE NODE GRAPHS: Really wish I could KB-shortcut (and therefore Streamdeck) a way to either direct-select or cycle the node graphs you have in use. I'm usually clicking 4 little dots to hop between Group Pre, Clip, Group Post, and Timeline, really adds up in lost momentum.

Oh and another thing, the first-worldest of first-world problems: on the Editor keyboard, hitting the Undo key in Fusion doesn't undo, but uses the ~ instead, thus wiping my viewers. It takes FEMTOSECONDS to put them right back on, and I simply won't stand for it.

I Use Keyboard Maestro for this together with a StreamDeck
In fact a lot of shortcuts that are not dedicated in Resolve itself I 'make' with KM and assign a key in Streamdeck

If we're going down that road, shortcuts for all options - including Timeline and the new Node Stacks from version 19 - would be very welcome indeed.

Especially for the Node Stacks. I switch between them frequently.

The most obvious keyboard shortcut to me personally is always switching between node graph levels. I waste so much momentum clicking between three tiny dots when I’ve got a mini panel and streamdeck right in front of me.

Two more Keyboard shortcuts missing that would be great to add into Resolve 19!

1.Switching between - Clips/Groups/Timeline and now Node Layer Stack.

Currently there is no easy way to switch between Clips/Groups/Timeline without using the mouse.

That was frustrating already up to Davinci Resolve 18, but now with the introduction of Node Layer Stack this becomes even more urgent and something I think must be added.

Node Layer Stack allows better organising a long fixed node tree spreading Primaries/Secondaries/Looks between Node Layers. This is great! but we also need a straightforward way to switch between the layers (which will happen constantly if you want to take full advantage of the Node Layer Stack feature.

There is no support even on Micro and Mini panels for this (I don't know if the Advance Panel can actually do that) But if so I found it silly that you have to pay $30.000 to unlock a basic feature that should be there in the first place.

2. Lightbox Clips filtering between all the sections (Groups/Smart Filters etc...)

Similarly, I often want to work on a Scene or Group or Selecting of clips and having the ability to map this function on a streamdeck to quickly filter the timeline would be amazing.

I hope these can be added into the new version and hopefully soon in Resolve 19.

I'd like to add another vote for a shortcut for Layout Presets, though I would also like to be able to specify a default layout and be able to have a shortcut straight to that.

Also a shortcut to the nearest transition. As has been noted elsewhere over many years it is extremely frustrating having to zoom in incredibly close and avoid all the different menu options that want to present themselves in that small space.

While we’re on lightbox, it seems to be broken, at least using color management. Go ahead and click the lightbox output button and watch your grade get absolutely crushed.

A shortcut to change a keyframe to a bezier frame in the retime curve window! That would be incredible for people (like me) who do a lot of speed ramps

Fusion Node Graph and Fusion Viewer Movement

Currently ctrl+scroll is the shortcut for zooming into your node graph. I think it would be easier and make more sense for it to be only scroll.

Currently scroll is used for going up and down, but i think most users use the mouse scroll click to pinch and drag arround anyways, so it wouldnt make sense to make the less easy to reach shortcut (ctrl+scroll) this.

The same goes for the fusion viewer, here it would also better to have scroll be zoom in and ctrl scroll up and down. This way it would also be the same as the other viewer in the edit page or the color page.

Default shortcut for open in fusion page

When you right click>open in fusion page it will open that clip in the fusion page. I think it would be nice to have a default shortcut binded to this. Something that is easy to reach, cause I assume people use this feature often. You could of course set it up for yourself, but I think it would be easier to discover if there was a default shortcut showing right next to it in the menu. In my opinion it would improve the software.

Thanks for the work you do blackmagic team!

Shortcut for connecting multiple nodes at once

It would be really nice if you could connect nodes via a shortcut. For example if you select multiple text+ and hold the shortcut and then click on the multimerge, it would connect all at once. This is just an example it could also be useful for merge3d and 3dobjects, shape nodes and smerge or any other node that has multiple inputs like for example the new switch node.

I know this could be done via a script, but it would still be an improvement to just have it natively in the software for all users.

Again thanks for the work you do blackmagic!

Go to Fusion -> Fusion settings -> User Interface and on the bottom remove the "Ctrl"-checkbox for zoom ;) This works in Resolve and Fusion standalone. But you have to set it in the Fusion specific settings.
I use it this way too. Is this what you meant?
