Ultimatte 12 timecode out

The Ultimatte manual states "If your foreground input source has embedded audio and timecode, they will be included in the program output."

My question is on the 4k or 8k models is the timecode output only on the program output or would it also be on the other outputs as well?

I'm asking because if you could capture all input elements via timecode separately then you could bring each element into Resolve and color-grade the foreground input, usually your camera feed. Otherwise the color, and even the background you captured on set is locked in.

I am looking at this more for virtual production vs a live broadcast scenerio.

I am not sure. I kind or just worked around it by feeding the outputs into the Hyperdeck 4K models. They were also feed timecode and it just captured it there.

Now, I can see how this would make a difference if each feed was brought through to a hard drive and captures there. If I were to guess the answer would be yes. Because if it passes through on one source there is no reason it should not pass it through all of them. It's the same incoming feed.
