Problem with BMPC and Lumix 12-35

PostThu Jan 23, 2014 8:46 am

Hi everybody.
I have a focus problem with my Pocket and the Lumix 12-35.
When press the focus button. focus goes a little bit further than infinity.
So nothing is in focus...
After this pressing the button has no more effect. Only the white focus marker appears.
Some times ago i had a peaking function, but i am not able to activate it any more.
I can set the focus manual.

Does anybody know that problem ?

Regards. Jochen

Does the lens have the latest firmware? You will need a Panasonic body to check and update.

Manual focus is always enabled. Just turn the focus ring.

For peaking you need to double press the focus button. You need to do this fast or it does not work.

Thanks Adam.
Peaking is working. I will check the lens firmware as soon as i find someone with a panasonic camera .

Had the same issue with two lenses, made upgrade via Panasonic MFT body, both lenses worked afterwards.
