Hi
this may not be for everyone.
I recently changed my PC motherboard which unfortunately required a reinstall of Windows. I had a number of Project libaries which I needed to import into a fresh install of DaVR. I successfully imported 3 of the 6 by using the Add Project Library button > then selecting "Connect" rather than "Create" and specifiying the project library path. After importing the Local database successfully, the next import resulted in the projects being displayed in the projects page but the Project library name did not appear under the list of Project Libraries. A subsequent attempt to create the same library resulted in:
This project library name is already in use .
I restarted DaVR and still only 3 Project Libraries were displayed in the list.
I found the following file:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Preferences\dblist.conf
a text file, which contained the list of Project Libraries I had imported and attempted to import. It showed 6 libraries of which only 3 were being displayed in the Project Library list in DaVR. The 3 missing libraries were the ones listed after the Local Database. I moved these three to the start of the file, saved and restarted DaVR. All 6 of the libraries were then listed in the Project Libraries list in DaVR.
This sounds like a bug and I suppose if you never have to do what I did or else you use the backup and restore method you will never encounter this problem.
I thought I would share as it had me confused for a while.
