I got a Micro G2 this year for my school. I'd like to get another for next year so we can mount them on the basketball backboards for games. I've been looking at various guides like and the idea seems simple enough.
The problem is that our backboard supports look like this:

. I'm not sure that super clamps would fit on the horizontal braces at the top and bottom of the boards. I was looking at the Avenger C1575B Super Clamp but I'm not sure if they can open wide enough. C clamps might stick out above or below the board.
Would a suction cup mount be a better choice or even work?
