Having some issues rendering a larger project (about 30-40 minutes long). Nothing too much complex going on, other than an adjustment clip with a fast noise effect going from start to finish; a couple of adjustment clips with analogue damage effect a couple of places; and a few picture files with super scale turned on.
I've tried rendering shorter chunks of the project, e.g. five minutes, and that usually works fine. I've tried different sections to see if any of them are particularly problematic, but they all seem to render out okay.
But doing the entire project is never successful (so far). I've gotten as low as 2% and as high as 40% before it decides to stop. The laptop fans will stop spinning. The 'remaining time' will keep increasing, making you feel like it's actually doing something, but it never starts moving again. I can cancel the render, but I can't switch away from the deliver tab, so Resolve has basically crashed.
Here's the specs on the (currently brand new) laptop:
- Lenovo LOQ
- AMD Ryzen 7 7435HS-processor
- 512 GB SSD
- 24 GB DDR5 RAM
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060
Any advice on how this can be solved and how I can render the full thing? Thanks!
