Got my replacement camera today. While the banding seems to be almost non existent at all ASA's and I have all of my helicoils accounted for, there are still literally hundreds of stuck pixels all over this sensor showing at all ASA's in low light or not... I will post a follow up video showing what I am talking about...I will be baffled if this isn't something showing up on everyones cameras. I recommend everyone pushing in on their images 100-200% or more at 800 asa with their lens cap on, finding an area with a fair amount stuck pixels then focusing on that same area at all different asa's in different lighting conditions...they DO NOT GO AWAY. They can be masked but they are there, even at 200 asa you can see them in decent lighting conditions in your shadows!!!
For me I cannot be shooting professionally with dead pixels all over, while this may not show up on vimeo or 1080p screens, it will show up on a 4k monitor and why pay for a new camera that has problems???
If i send back this camera a second time it will be me either sitting tight for an ef mounted speed booster for 2.5k to be released(probably won't want to wait) or dumping my entire production package and starting fresh with a new manufacturer...
Call me crazy but I could do without audio, waveforms, audio levels, low light shooting,or any other downfalls that these cameras have as long as all of my pixels are there and banding is resolved.
Anyone else in the same boat???
