WB Metadata of 4k

PostFri Apr 04, 2014 1:13 pm

How do i know WB setting of the 4k footage? Was doing a light test of a new light at our rental house. Thought the camera would save metadata info in the prores file. But there was no info in Resolve too.. So disappointing.. My basic camera 550d shows these metadata more efficiently..

No, there is a LOT of metadata that BMCC cameras do NOT write in the files they output. So you had better take notes to be safe. That being said, certain file types don't have all the metadata headers you're expecting either. Not entirely sure what is supported in ProRes.

Where's Peter when you need him?

Here's a link to Arri ProRes metadata, so that implies that ProRes has space for it. :)
