Hi all, So I've been working on a 30 min documentary called The Drybrush Master for over a year now. It was shot on the BMCC EF in Prores. The documentary follows Greg Ruth, an illustrator and the author of the Lost Boy graphic novel. We're releasing clips from the film on Greg's site up until the release [currently slated for May 12th but we may go earlier since it's done]. The clips were graded in filmcovert and the audio edited and mixed by a local studio in Western MA. One of the clips is an interview shot in Virginia on a 60D by someone else that didn't end up in the film but otherwise it's all BMCC with a few b-roll clips from a Sony FS700 in the main film. The film also features the likes of Jane Yolen, Rebecca Guay, Ruth Sanderson, and others.
The final color mix was done in DaVinci Resolve by ColorSpace Finishing in LA. The score is by Nicky Royston in the UK.
Oh yeah didn't even think about that. Whoops. Probably did the equivalent of pushing a food cart into the trenches of a war zone. Certainly also very pissed off about my BMCC EF becoming a few more notches obsolete.
