PostMon Apr 07, 2014 6:21 pm

Well, why not.
Bought in to the first BMCC (before the price drop, and the Pocket..)

May as well throw my name into the hat to at least Beta the upcoming cam...

trust me BMD, I will be brutally honest about its strenghts and weaknesses

BMD is trying to move into the big leagues with the URSA, I doubt anyone here will be a Beta tester.

Agreed! I do want to be a beta tester too.

At least and finally a good review and opinion for the South America market.

Volunteering for the European market.
Make me a beta tester or I buy AJA.

Oh wait - I am already an unofficial beta tester since I got my BMCC in February 2012.
Saying "Thx for help!" is not a crime.

Put me down as a beta tester as well although I doubt I'll get in :) I'd rather test the Live camera since I shoot mostly concerts anyway

Sign me up, as long as I don't have to buy my own blank CFast media!

(Why doesn't the URSA use SSD? Are CFast cards already capable of faster data rates than SSD?)

Good luck! If you get chosen that means you will receive the camera less than 3 months after the "release date" and probably a full YEAR before any pre-orders and consumers!

No, the SSD's are faster. My guess is form factor as well as the difficulty they have had supporting third party ssd's, led to the change. The Cfast cards are built to a universal spec too, the SSD's are all over the place.

Aren't all of us owners already beta testers? You will be able to buy into the URSA beta tester program for $6000. You will have your test unit in hand in 4 to 16 months.
