REF input = genlock / sync-able?

I noticed that the Studio and URSA lines have a REF input.

Does this mean you can genlock / synchronize them somehow?

I do some specific VFX shoot stuff which requires multiple cameras synchronized to be frame-accurate (e.g. if one is a 1/100th of a second out of sync with the other, it's a bad thing). I also do 3D stereo recording.

I know it's a hassle getting cams synced... but hey, the benefit for the companies that get this right is that the people who want this tend to buy cameras in pairs... or whole arrays...

Timecode IN, Timecode OUT ports. But yes the reference port should be for genlock, although I didn't see BMD's web pages mention genlock.
