exFAT

PostFri Sep 07, 2012 2:41 pm

I noticed from the email from Grant that exFAT will soon be supported on the HyperDeck. Fabulous!

Hopefully, that will soon follow for the Blackmagic Cinema Camera MFT (until today the Blackmagic Canon Camera) and I won't need to carry a Mac everywhere I go.

Cheers.

This was one of the big beefs with pre-order folks but it fell aside silently.
This def will open up doors for the BMCC users on the Windows side.
Didnt affect me since Im 90% Mac but I like options :)

I am also very happy that exFAT will be supported and hope that this will be coming to the Cinema Camera soon! Thank you Blackmagic!

I have the HyperDeck Shuttle and use Windows 7. Having the exFat option makes the HyperDeck very pleasant to use without having to rely on third party software to format and access the drive.

I certainly hope that exFat is added to the BMCC soon.
