Fusion under Boot Camp

PostMon Nov 10, 2014 7:26 pm

Will Fusion work on a Mac booted natively into the Windows operating system under Boot Camp?

Could work. I cannot see why not.

However, it's worth noting that it's neither tested or supported. If there is a bug you run into, we will do our best to recreate on a supported system, if it exists there we can submit it.

I'm also running it successfully under Boot Camp on a 2010 MacBook Pro. It's not the speediest platform for Fusion of course and since 7.0 the graphics card is no longer a supported OpenCL device. I don't know about newer models (do they still have NVidia cards in there?) so that might be something to check out first. Because Fusion really benefits from OpenCL capabilities.

Fusion even runs under Parallels on my MacBook.
