DaVinci 9.0.4 crash when import project

I have a trouble with resolve 9 when triing to import a project (.drp).
Config: Mac Pro 2x6core
ATI 5870
Red Rocket.

Hi, your hardware config does not meet the min req. please refer to the posted config guide. You need to have at least one image processing GPU.

The HD5870 will work for basic HD Resolve operation. What type of project are you importing, and what type of problem are you having when you import the project? Does Resolve crash instantly when you import the project? Or when you try to load it after it's imported? Or at some point after its loaded? Is it crashing to the desktop, or hanging at some point? Are you using a recommended OS X version (10.7.5 or 10.8.2)? For an ATI GPU, you need to use 10.8.2 to prevent random highlight posterization issues with corrections, but using 10.7.5 should not cause a crash.

If you start a new project in Resolve, does that work OK? Is it only this specific .drp project file that's causing an issue? If that's the case, perhaps the file is corrupt.

But if Resolve crashes when you create a project on it, there may be something else wrong.

Send your Mac System Profile .spx file, and a Resolve CaptureLogs .tgz file to davincihelp (AT) blackmagicdesign (DOT) com and we can take a look to try and determine what's going on. Please reference this thread in the email so we know what it relates to.

For the .spx file, click on the Apple icon in the upper left of the display and select "About This Mac". Then click on More Info and then System Report. In the System Information menus at the top of the display, select the File menu, then Save.

For the .tgz file, open a Finder window, and navigate to the /Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve folder and double click CaptureLogs. That will place a .tgz file on your desktop.
