what, oh what, if things just aren't working out with the current sensor manufacturer, and BMC had two choices: give up entirely and waste all the time, effort, and tooling and made shells.

or find a new sensor/manufacturer....

there certainly are a lot of fish in the sea....

how about this for a homework assignment for everyone: solve BMC's problem and find them a new sensor. first one to find an ideal sensor gets a digital cookie :)

If BMD chose another sensor, we may as well just move on as it would require a lot of rework.

Not that a lot of us have already moved on or anything :(

Yes, this is what we've been told/what they thought it was/blablabla... They can't chime in within three weeks to tell us "sorry guys, still problems, we know you're waiting and speculating, please don't loose your faith." No wonder people start to not believe them anymore.

I'm only doing short films on my own budget, so already think what I could do with the money saved from the BMC as I prepare myself that it will never arrive.
