Fujinon new XF lenses

Anybody used these yet, especially anyone lucky enough to have a BMCC? Can't find to much info on them at the moment, though I've started looking into them. I initially thought they didn't have manual aperture but the ones with "R" in the model name do, the values aren't marked on the lens body though, just a blank ring.
There are some potentially useful lenses in the range 10-24(not out yet) and 14,18,23 primes. plus some other zooms like 18-55 and 55-200.

Do they not focus by "wire"? Meaning the focus ring just communicates with the AF motors?

If so they wont work on the BMCC as there is no way of powering them.

Just did a quick look.. I'm not familiar with these lenses, but if they are manual lenses and there is an X-mount to EF or MFT adapter then they should work fine.. I have no idea about the image quality and build of the lenses.

mmm, good point. Can't find anything that outright says that, but I think you're right. If I find info to the contrary I'll update this thread.

Remembering the line of optics from the 680 still camera. They were sharper then pretty much anything I remember from Ziess, Rodenstock, Schneider. Amazing glass and strong builds.

Thought I had read that some place.

Also think the flange distance would be to short for the EF mount. Probably fine on the MFT.
