Mac Pro Resolve Cubix Setup feedback

Hi!

I am thinking about building a Davinci Resolve 9 setup and I am looking for feedback.

Mac Pro Two 2,4 GHz 6-Core (12 core) 28 GB RAM

Do you know if it works to mix one:
Nvidia GTX 570 for Apple Mac Pro 2.5 GB 
and
Two: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580+  3072 MB GGDR5 SDRAM? 

Will I get more realtime in Davinci Resolve 9 with the above setup than if I go with three Nvidia GTX 570 for Apple Mac Pro 2.5 GB?

Monitor:
SONY Monitor PVM2541 + MD-DUCC Multi-Definition Down Up Cross Converter
WAVE
USB Ranger 2204 Cat 5 Extender
DELL 27'' TFT U2711 - HAS + - DUAL - Svart 2560x1440 + 19 inch screen for scopes.
4x SSD vertex 4 512 GB S-ATA 6Gb/s  for media used with the resolve. Internal RAID 0.
1x PCI MAXPower RAID mini-SAS 6G-1e1i or Highpoint RocketRAID 2721
1x OCZ Vertex 4 Series SATA III 2.5" SSD 256GB for System Mac OSX 10.8.2
WD My Book Essential Edition 3.0 4TB (USB 3.0 / USB 2.0) for backup.

Thinking of this PCI setup:

Looks fine to me too. A few things though. If it's a resolve system only the 570 for the GUI is overkill and you might aswell stick with the stock ATI. If it's an all-around system running Adobe stuffs it's another story. =)

What brand of the 580+? That's not the same as the classified? The Cubix have little room for "Non standard" height cards so make sure that they're not to tall so they hit the Cubix lid.

I would also think about a rack mounted Cubix and I totally regret that we didn't go for that. The Regular GPU Expander 4 has more that one flaw in it's design. =/

Hi I ordered the "classified" from ebay macvidcards and ordered a CUBIX GPU-Xpander Desktop 4 .
Do you think it will work? I sure hope so

Hi I forgot my username so got a new account:
No it did unfortunately not fit:( So I have ordered 3 new GTX 580 that are not so tall:

So now my new setup will be GT 120 for computer display. Change 570 and 580 classified to 3x GTX 580.
And skip the Red Rocket purchase.

Hopefully they will fit Ask me again at the end of next week and I might know if my new setup works .
