We don't have 2 Resolve Studio dongles, so we can't simply try this but I noticed the following in the manual:
(typed because the Resolve Manual doesn't allow copy&paste of text without a password.)

remote editing
What I'm missing here is any reference to EDITING.
If there was a second person with a Resolve Studio dongle
and we set up a PostgreSQL database
and we managed to ship the original footage to him
and we opened up the proper ports on our public IPv6 (IPv4?)
adress for connections from his computer (what ports ARE these anyway? 15000+ 5432 for PostgreSQL?)
would that person be able to do changes in the EDIT panel on his own?
disconnected editing
If this failes,
is there a way to export individual projects and import them on another workstation?
(e.g. one person working on a disconnected laptop and a desktop
or multiple people editing different parts)
(yes: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=28663 )
Is there a way to import timelines from one project into another, to merge the editing-work?
(last year this was impossible: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=33041 )
remote grading

I read that remote grading requires no shared PostgreSQL database.
Does that mean that the remote station can be a Resolve lite of the same version as
the Resolve Studio master?
(The requirement of having the same display resolution would be..difficult but possible.)
PS:
In my opinion it's a shame that you can't give a director or assistant Resolve lite
while running a master with Resolve Studio and have them do anything.
If not remote edit, then at least look "over the shoulder" of the colorist/editor (who's in a different city)
to make informed, quick, creative decisions using Resolve lite.
