During the install, a panel comes up to indicate the folder (Blackmagic Design) where v14 will go.
I was smart.
Decided to create a new folder (Resolve14), since I didn't want the new program to overwrite the v12.5 stuff in the 'DaVinci Resolve' folder.
Fine...
Was working on some 4k Ursa dng footage.
Going to 'Preferences', I decided to remove the two VST folders shown in the list.
When I press 'Save', I get a popup panel saying >
Error
Unable to save preferences.
Attempted to make other misc changes. This results in being impossible to 'Save'.
Fine...
Performance on my machine is not great. Windows10 Pro, Quadro K5200, 64GB ram.
Thought I go back to using v12.5
The old desktop icon is missing. That's okay, I'll just go to Program Files and copy it back to the Desktop from the 'DaVinci Resolve' folder.
Hmmm...
That folder is empty...!
Guess I'll reinstall v12.5 tomorrow - when I'm in a better mood...
